The cover was beautifully sang by Philippines‘ balladeer Martin Nievera and charismatic Anne Curtis! Oh I love her for having that fighting spirit when it comes to singing. And I really enjoy listening to their singing collaboration. Plus, there’s a rap from Anne!
Just recently updated myself with the latest popular songs being played in a music video channel in the Philippines called MYX! When I switched to this channel last weekend, I was welcomed with its current week top 20 international songs.
I waited until it reached the current #1 music video which is ‘Heart Attack’ sang by one of my favorite international singers Demi Lovato! I like the tone of her voice and the way she sings especially when she reaches the high notes.
And then while searching the song Heart Attack on Youtube, I also saw a version of this song which I also immediately enjoyed listening to.
Every time I listen to this One Direction song being played in a radio especially when I’m malling, it just makes me feel good! The lyrics and the beat of this song continue to transmit good vibes that I keep on singing it even in my head. I feel like this song speaks to me in a way reminding me that being just the way I am is already enough. At times I fail to recognize that a cheerful smile, a positive aura, and feeling good about myself especially the love from my family already make me feel effortlessly beautiful.
The latest song I fancy since it glued my interest for some time now and currently still one of the most viewed cover versions of Justin Bieber’s Beauty and a Beat. I particularly like the girl’s vocals here for it sounded appealing to my ears and up to now I can’t help to search this video first when I’m on Youtube so I can listen and watch them perform the song. An upbeat music like this just makes me feel energized which is fitting on the first day of the week!
This song has been playing as a music jingle in a TV commercial currently shown here in the Philippines. The opening part of the song specifically the beats and the instrumentals are playful in my ears and thus becoming a last song syndrome for me these past few days. A summery upbeat song like this can somehow make my heart joyful and I especially like the part when the ad is ended with the lyrics sang by Colbie Caillat:
“Shining how we want…Brighter than the Sun!”
